The Dr. Mad Max Metal Escape Challenges
The 7 Point Components
What is a 7 Point or soon to be 9 point, and then there are the traditional 5 points all part of the Dr. Mad Max experiences? The number used refers to the points of restraint. The 7 point refers to both wrists both ankles the biceps and the collar tethered. The design is a Max Cita exclusive with the intention of making the best escape artist incapable of freeing themselves. So what is the point of no escape in such a rigid device? Self empowerment and Sensory Deprivation lie at the root of the experience. For many the concept of immobilization allows the mind to release hugh numbers of endorphins, which in turn allows the freedom to float, experience not only tactile sensations but deep muscular tension as well. Self empowerment is to experience the loss of control and not giving up. That is the brain is in control not the sensations the body is feeling. That control gives the person a tremendous sense of accomplishment and feeling of self confidence amongst many other psychological and emotional effects. Floating is something defined uniquely by every person that has the experience. To some it is simple focus of sensations, to others the term out of body, floating, dreaming, so real that reality is lost to the dreamscape. Time is essentially lost so that what may seem a few minutes of experience can be hours. While some may conclude the 7 point is a sadistic looking device then almost any power exchange could develop into one of SM. Max is not interested in SM, period. Even the use of the device in a predicament is about self empowerment. The intensity of the device can be made to invoke a lot of muscle contraction and spasm that challenges the will of the user not to break. But the energy and situation is about the user defining the purpose of the experience and the control of it. |
