A valiant
attempt at using ankle and wrist spreader bars and rope. |
|
| Spreadeagle
and roped to the underside of the restraint frame should keep Max in place.
Wearing a rubber dry suit under a black PVC one-piece rain suit with thin
latex gloves over thicker ones. Latex hooded with balaclava and leather
head restraint to immobilize the head. |
 |
|
|
| An iron collar
was locked on and then roped to restrain head movement |
|
Wrists were rope
tied to the spreader bar in turn rope ends tied under the restraint frame,
well out of reach of hands. |
|
|
|
|
| Ankles
were tied to the spreader bag and held in position again tied to the underside
of the restraint frame. Movement was limited at feet and hands, but otherwise
the body had lots of room to move. |
|
Head
and foot of restraint frame were used to rope off Max to prevent excessive
up and down movements. |
 |
Resting
comfortably, very warm, the timer was set and the escape challenge
began.
It took only 20 minutes to get out of this. The slack in the rope
and easy access to the rope at the spreader bar allowed for wrist
rope to
slide off . The hands free the next challenge was to free the neck
from the iron collar and rope. That was the hardest part because
the rope ends
could not be reached, and the iron collar was locked on. |
|
Once the collar
was off untying the feet was easy. Remember Max is latex hooded with
mouth and nose holes only, and then he is put into a balaclava, backwards
so there is no means to see until after the head harness and iron
collar are removed. Max does not use hidden knives, or keys to get
out.
